    Elm trees on the University of Chicago campus in Chicago, Illinois. It is noted that the trees are 1 1/2 miles west of Lake Michigan. The trees are all relatively the same size and shade parts of the sidewalk. People sit on the grassy hill and gothic style buildings can be seen in the background.     Two Willow trees growing the beaches of Jackson Park in Chicago, Illinois. It is noted that their trunks lean away from Lake Michigan and have grown sideways from the wind and elements caused by the lake.
