Description
-
Landscape of Mammoth Hot Spring in Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. Mineral deposits from the ground water create stepped pools and calcareous overhangs, creating a mountain of mineral hot springs. Portions of the hot springs are active at different times, so the landscape is always changing. Mountains can be seen in the background, along with several stands of trees.
