A man hammers nails into a new boardwalk board in Iowa. Two men in overcoats watch him work as he builds a new boardwalk for the businesses along the street. Several false front row buildings can be seen behind the men.Slide labeled with text, "Made by G.R. Swain, 713 E. University Ave., Ann Arbor, Michigan." Swain was staff photographer at U of M from 1913 to 1947.
