Description
A boy and a girl climb on the fence surrounding a house in Hannibal, Missouri. Hannibal is famous for being the boyhood home of Mark Twain, an American author and humorist. Twain was born in 1835 and died in 1910. He is known for writing The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. Slide labeled with text, "Made by G.R. Swain, 713 E. University Ave., Ann Arbor, Michigan." Swain was staff photographer at U of M from 1913 to 1947.
