Two Elm trees on the ground of the Michigan State Normal School, not Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, Michigan. The trees do not have leaves on them yet because it is still too early in the spring, but trees around them are starting to get their leaves. A fountain can be seen in the foreground and a car is parked on the roadway. Slide labeled with text, "Made by G.R. Swain, 713 E. University Ave., Ann Arbor, Michigan." Swain was staff photographer at U of M from 1913 to 1947.
