Description

A man is filling holes around the bases of the trees with water, presumably irrigating them. A stone and iron fence wall runs along the sidewalk and blocks off houses front the street. Slide labeled with text, "Made by G.R. Swain, 713 E. University Ave., Ann Arbor, Michigan." Swain was staff photographer at U of M from 1913 to 1947.
