The fort can be seen sitting on top of a prominent hill, with cultivated fields surrounding it. The landscape is mountainous and rugged. Slide labeled with text, "Made by G.R. Swain, 713 E. University Ave., Ann Arbor, Michigan." Swain was staff photographer at U of M from 1913 to 1947.
