Image from a published source. aerial picture of the northern portion of Guano Island in Peru. The black patches seen on the side of the mountain are birds. A dock extends from the island on the opposite side and boats can be seen near the dock. The landscape is rugged and barren. Slide labeled with text, "Made by G.R. Swain, 713 E. University Ave., Ann Arbor, Michigan." Swain was staff photographer at U of M from 1913 to 1947.
