Photograph of a woman standing in front of a sheet metal structure. It is noted that this photograph was taken in Panama in 1926. The woman can be seen washing clothes in a pail near the building. Piles of clothes surround the wash bin and the structure appears to be a wooden frame building covered with sheet metal. Jefferson would often use the same negative to create a lantern slide as well as a mounted stereographic card. When possible we have indicated if it is a repeat image, however this is not always the case. As such, there may be a corresponding digitized glass lantern slide, and a mounted stereographic card associated with this stereographic negative within the Mark Jefferson Collection.
