The pool of a geyser, likely in Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. The geyser is not erupting, but how water bubbles at the vents surface. There is no vegetation around the geyser due to the high levels of minerals in the water and the geothermal heating from below the surface. Trees and grassy fields can be seen in the background, away from the mineral field.
