Mark Twain's boyhood home in Hannibal, Missouri. The house is a two-story hall and parlor plan house with a central passage. A chimney can be seen on the gabled end of the house. Mark Twain was born in 1835 and died in 1910. He is known for writing The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. Slide labeled with text, "Made by G.R. Swain, 713 E. University Ave., Ann Arbor, Michigan." Swain was staff photographer at U of M from 1913 to 1947.
