Description

A log house near the Puget Sound in Washington. A girl walks towards the house with a metal pail and a woman stands in the doorway. The house is a single story one room log house with cedar shake shingles and two smoke stacks rising through the ridge line of the roof. A shed addition can be seen on the back of the house and what appears to be an outhouse can be seen in the foreground. The property is surrounded by large evergreen trees. Slide labeled with text, "Made by G.R. Swain, 713 E. University Ave., Ann Arbor, Michigan." Swain was staff photographer at U of M from 1913 to 1947.
