Description
-
Eastern portion of Lake Drummond in Virginia. Sitting in the middle of the Great Dismal Swamp between Virginia and North Carolina, Lake Drummond is surrounded by dense vegetation on all banks of the lake. Two men can be seen in a low paddle boat in the foreground, passing by large trees rising out of the lake. It appears that the lake level was high when this picture was taken because trees can be seen rising out of the water to the left on what appears to be a bank.
