Description

A bare Elm tree growing beside a paved roadway in Ypsilanti, Michigan. It is most likely spring because of the leaves on the tree are still very small. Billboards can be seen on the side of the road, surrounding the tree and powerlines cross in front of the tree next to the roadway. Slide labeled with text, "Made by G.R. Swain, 713 E. University Ave., Ann Arbor, Michigan." Swain was staff photographer at U of M from 1913 to 1947.
