A Willow tree 1 1/2 miles from Lake Michigan in Chicago, Illinois. The Willow's are growing in a row along a street in the city and apartment style buildings can be seen in the background. A paved walkway and a fence can be seen next to the tree row. It is noted that the trees are being affected by the wind. Slide labeled with text, "Made by G.R. Swain, 713 E. University Ave., Ann Arbor, Michigan." Swain was staff photographer at U of M from 1913 to 1947.
