An Elm tree growing on 60th Street 1 1/2 miles from Lake Michigan in Chicago, Illinois. The tree is relatively small and all of its branches rise out of the top of the trunk. A three story house can be seen in the background and the yards of the houses are all well maintained. It is noted there is a lake breeze. Slide labeled with text, "Made by G.R. Swain, 713 E. University Ave., Ann Arbor, Michigan." Swain was staff photographer at U of M from 1913 to 1947.
