Description
-
A large steam powered paddle boat is moored to a levee in New Orleans, Louisiana. Several men sit on barrels on the levee where the ship is moored. The labels on the barrels are illegible. The ship is ornately decorated with wooden scroll work that covers the open-air decks, and the ship is named, "Alvin." Two large smokestacks rise up from its decks.
