A woman stands next to the "Sherzer car" on the El Camino Real-Trail in California in 1920. It is noted that the picture was taken to show the trail marker, which is labeled, "El Camino Real, Mission San Juan Bautista 42 miles, Mission San Jose 15 miles. The packed dirt road is edged with concrete buffers and trees are planted next to the sidewalks. A large two and a half story house can be seen in the background.
