Landscape of ash deposits in a pit from volcanic eruptions of Kilauea in Hawaii. It is noted this is the trail to the fire pit and the picture was taken on the north side in 1921. The landscape is hilly with vegetation on either side of the trail. Ash walls are on either side and rocks are scattered on the ground.
