Description

The Sentinel Rock formation in Yosemite National Park in California. The peak towers over Yosemite Valley and is opposite the Yosemite Falls. Completely made of granite, the peak is at 7,038'. Trees grow at the base of the cliff and obscure the view of the other granite rock faces. A small stream can be seen at the base of the peak.
