Description
-
Photograph of an extensively chipped tree on the side of a dirt road. It is noted that the tree has been chipped for three years. The tree has likely been chipped for years in an effort to collect resin to process into turpentine. A wooden pan sits high-up on the tree where it collects resin that flows down the chipping pattern. Several other trees in the background are chipped for resin collection with differing height pans. Grass covers the ground around the trees.
