Central is the Old Royal Palace. Construction was completed in 1843. Neoclassical architecture designed by Friedrich von G�rtner for King Otto and his Queen Amalia. Has housed Hellenic Parliament since 1934.
Construction began 1842 on Christmas and was completed 1862. Marble from 72 demolished churches was used to construct the wall. It has three flat sides and the fourth side is a dome. Luthern Church made of stone masonry and is the tallest church in the world. The foundation was laid in 1377, but was not completed until 1890. Gothic style architecture.
Construction of this house began in the 15th century and evolved with different architectural styles. Baroque facades and gothic styles of 15th and 16th centuries molded the building, which began as townhouses. Rococo decorations were added during the 1700s.
