Center for Jewish Studies Oral History Project
In February of 2012, former U.S. Senator Carl Levin joined the EMU community in the student center ballroom to formally introduce the new Center for Jewish Studies. Ever growing, the Center has provided meaningful opportunities and education to students and non-students alike. Engaging and accessible programs, diverse course offerings, and strong community ties have helped the Center become widely recognized across Southeast Michigan.
This collection of oral histories documents the history of EMU's Center for Jewish Studies alongside the diverse stories and voices of the community behind it.
