Title
New Hampshire Hall and Parlor House. New Concord, New Hampshire. "New Concord, New Hampshire. House at 409. June 1926"
Photographer
Likely, Mark Jefferson
Description
A small, vernacular style hall and parlor house new Concord, New Hampshire. A single story porch covers the front facade of the house which appears to have a centrally located entrance, likely making the floor plan a hall and parlor house with a central hallway. A wing addition can be seen on the back of the house and a second door allows entrance into the addition on the side. Decorative scroll work hangs from the porch room and a decorated overhanging pediment covers the second entrance on the side. A large addition can be seen in the background and a large tree grows in the front yard, offering shade during the summer. Jefferson would often use the same negative to create a lantern slide as well as a mounted stereographic card. When possible we have indicated if it is a repeat image, however this is not always the case. As such, there may be a corresponding digitized glass lantern slide, and a mounted stereographic card associated with this stereographic negative within the Mark Jefferson Collection.
