A worker laying on the wooden loading dock of the levees in New Orleans, Louisiana. Two large fishing steamers can be seen moored to the levee. Slide labeled with text, "Made by G.R. Swain, 713 E. University Ave., Ann Arbor, Michigan." Swain was staff photographer at U of M from 1913 to 1947.
