Description

Farming fields near the Tagus River. It is noted that this is the Vega of the Tagus. The fields have been cultivated and harvested. Buildings can be seen in the background. The area is generally flat which is ideal for farming. Slide labeled with text, "Made by G.R. Swain, 713 E. University Ave., Ann Arbor, Michigan." Swain was staff photographer at U of M from 1913 to 1947.
