  Steel overhead cross braced bridge over the waterless Eurotas river near Sparta, Greece. The exposed riverbed appears to be finely ground rocks and sand. The bridge is supported by concrete columns that the riverbed surrounds.

  Brock's Monument at Niagara Falls in Queenstown, Ontario, Canada. It is noted that General Brock of the British armed forces was killed here in 1812. The monument is a large obelisk with a carved capital and a statue on top. Tourists walk the grounds around the monument, which are landscaped with grasses and trees.

  Photograph of a broken tree in a residential area. It is noted that this photograph was taken in Ypsilanti in 1911. The tree has partially fallen due to wind damage.   A broken volcanic block from an eruption of the volcano Kilauea in Hawaii. The landscape is barren and rocky, with several boulders in the foreground. A canteen is draped over one of the rocks to show size perspective and trees can be seen in the background.

  Photograph of an Italinate architecture building. The building is rectangular in shape and covered in stucco. Cars are parked in front of the building. Trees grow on the road near the building.   Photograph of a tuscan column building taken in Panama in 1926. The house has eight visible columns that support a two story portico. Pilasters decorate the exterior of the house underneath the portico and the cornice is decorated with triglyphs. The roof has a balustrade concealing the low pitched roof. Several cars are parked outside of the buildings and trees and bushes grow in a flowerbed near the camera. Jefferson would often use the same negative to create a lantern slide as well as a mounted stereographic card. The shadow of the side of the house can be seen on the building in the background that is still standing. Debris is scattered all over the sidewalk.
