Two Oak trees growing 15 miles from Lake Michigan in Chicago, Illinois. It is noted that there is no lake breeze here and the trees are not affected by the elements. The landscape is grassy and is dotted with trees in the background. The Oak trees tower over the landscape. Slide labeled with text, "Made by G.R. Swain, 713 E. University Ave., Ann Arbor, Michigan." Swain was staff photographer at U of M from 1913 to 1947.
