A small Elm tree growing on Midway in Chicago, Illinois. It is noted that the tree is 1 1/2 miles west of Lake Michigan and there is a lake breeze. The tree is approximately the same size as the other trees around it and they are all planted in a grassy park area with walkways. Slide labeled with text, "Made by G.R. Swain, 713 E. University Ave., Ann Arbor, Michigan." Swain was staff photographer at U of M from 1913 to 1947.
