Description
A man catches a mother alligator in New Orleans, Louisiana. He is pulling the alligator from the tall reeds near the water and he is hold its jaws shut so it does not bite him. It is noted that this alligator is 7 feet long. Slide labeled with text, "Made by G.R. Swain, 713 E. University Ave., Ann Arbor, Michigan." Swain was staff photographer at U of M from 1913 to 1947.
