Description
A Maple tree growing in an open field in Ypsilanti, Michigan. It is noted that the leaves and branches of the tree extend all the way down the trunk. The tree stands by itself and the landscape is grassy with no other vegetation. A tree line can be seen in the background and a wire fence can be seen in the foreground. The tree is being blown by the wind. Slide labeled with text, "Made by G.R. Swain, 713 E. University Ave., Ann Arbor, Michigan." Swain was staff photographer at U of M from 1913 to 1947.
