Image from a published source. aerial picture likely of the Pachitea River in Peru. It is noted the picture shows the Puerto Bermudez. The river winds through the heavily forested landscape and does not appear to be very deep, as a sand bank can be seen in the middle of the river near the clear cut area of the forest where the port sits. Slide labeled with text, "Made by G.R. Swain, 713 E. University Ave., Ann Arbor, Michigan." Swain was staff photographer at U of M from 1913 to 1947.
